The new year will kick off with the Winter 2026 season from Tucson Adult Soccer League, offering the following confirmed leagues:

Friday COED

Every Friday Night at Kino Sports Complex South
Format: 11v11, ages 18+
Season dates: January 9 to March 6
1/16 and 2/13 to be played at various city fields 
Fee: $100 per player (8 matches to play)
Player registration to remain on SportsEngine
Registrations and completed teams due by Dec 15

Sunday Men’s Open

Every Sunday Morning at Naranja Park
Format: 7v7 (ages 18+)
Dates: January 9 to February 22
Possible shift to 9v9 based on total registrations
Fee: $80 per player (8 matches to play)

Every Tuesday Night at Dan Felix Memorial Park
Format: 11v11 Format (ages 30+)
Dates: January 6 to February 24

Important Update on Registration

We are introducing the new TASL App this winter as the future home for all TASL leagues. Among other exciting features, the new app has been built to improve our registration process, scheduling, roster management, officiating coordination, and overall efficiency across all TASL leagues. 

After demoing the app for months and then moving into live use, we discovered that more optimization is needed for it to meet the administrative and accounting standards required to manage a league as large as Friday COED, which includes more than 50 teams and over 1,000 players.

With that in mind, we made an executive decision to move Friday COED registration back to SportsEngine for Winter 2026. This gives our team the time needed to refine the app’s tools, support our officials as they train on the new system, and ensure the platform can operate at the scale Friday COED demands.

Friday COED managers were already onboarded into the TASL App, and we appreciate everyone who completed that step. All Friday COED teams have been migrated into SportsEngine, and any players who already registered and paid through the TASL App will be added to their team’s SportsEngine roster. If you already completed that payment in the new TASL app, you will not need to re-register in SportsEngine.

Sunday Men’s Open and Tuesday Women’s 30+ will continue with registration through the new TASL App for Winter 2026 and beyond. The scale of these leagues gives us the right environment to train and to fine tune the features needed for full league administration. Our plan is to transition Friday COED to the app in Spring 2026. This added time will give us the needed time to refine the system so it delivers the level of reliability and organization our players expect.

The new TASL App is available on the App Store and Google Play, and we encourage all players to download it and set up their profiles. Early onboarding helps us prepare for full adoption in future seasons.

More than a tournament, this one-of-a-kind event unites generations of women athletes to compete, connect, and inspire. The Legendary Women’s Cup will feature full-sized 11v11 and 7v7 matches for ages 18 to 70+, all set against the scenic Naranja Park of Oro Valley in Tucson, Arizona. Honoring the spirit of play, camaraderie, and competition, we welcome teams from across the region and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who made the 5th annual TASL Independence Cup such a memorable weekend. From the first kickoff on Saturday to the final matches on Sunday, Naranja Park was alive with energy. The weather was beautiful, the setting was perfect, and the grass was in excellent condition. The game was beautiful.

TASL hosted a successful 7v7 tournament at Kino North Stadium before the FC Tucson season opener. Eighteen teams signed up across the Recreational and Advanced divisions and we plan to host it again next year!
